No office hours on Friday.Course ObjectiveThe course provides students with working knowledge of the concepts, techniques, and tools to provide effective businessintelligence and data analytics. Course topics include database principles, data warehousing; business analytics and datavisualization through score cards and dashboards; data, text, and web mining; and business performance management.Emphasis will be placed on emerging efforts to use business intelligence applications in finance, accounting, humanresources, sales forecasting and marketing, customer relationship management, product sales, operation and supply-chainmanagement, and web site analysis.All sections must take all five exams at the LSU testing center on campus. No office hours or classes on Fridays.ISDS 2001 Section 1 –75-99% Web based. No meeting times for any lectures.
