It is astudy of the structure and function of the human body including cells, tissues and organs of thefollowing systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous and special senses. Emphasis ison interrelationships among systems and regulation of physiological functions involved inmaintaining homeostasis. The lab provides a hands-on learning experience for exploration ofhuman system components and basic physiology. Systems to be studied include integumentary,skeletal, muscular, nervous, and special senses.Academic Dishonesty:Students are expected to maintain complete honesty and integrity in theacademic experiences both in and out of the classroom. Any student found guilty of dishonestyin any phase of academic work will be subject to disciplinary action. The institution and itsofficial representatives may initiate disciplinary proceedings against a student accused of anyform of academic dishonesty including, but not limited to, cheating on an examination or otheracademic work which is to be submitted, plagiarism, collusion, or the abuse of resourcematerials.I have a zero tolerance policy for cheating, copying work, etc.If I discover any kindof academic dishonesty, I will push for the maximum penalty possible.Understanding whatconstitutes academic dishonesty is your responsibility.If you are unsure about something, askbefore submitting it.
Attendance Policy:As an online-only course I will not be taking attendance.Assignments havedesignated due dates that you will be aware of well in advance.Turning in assignments on timewill essentially count as your attendance since I will not reopen materials.
