Condoms (B.C Era) The first condoms were dated as back to the B.C era, thousands of years ago. Condoms had two styles back then, they would cover the entire penis ( like todays regular condoms) or just the tip of it. Condoms were made out of pieces of linen and also fish bladders. It wasn't until the 1850s when Charles Goodyear invented the first rubber condom which we all know today.
The Sexual Revolution (1920) The revolution began in the early 20 th century , Americans that were middle class converted from Victorianism to Freudianism. Just like men, women also enjoyed and needed sex. Women were encouraged to pursue their sexual desires allowing more freedom to sex, people were sexually chaste before marriage. 40 percent of women were having sex before marriage, and 60 percent of males were having sex before marriage.
