Test anxiety is a combination of physiological over-arousal, tension, and somatic symptoms, along with worry, dread, fear of failure, and catastrophizing, that occur before or during test situations. 2) My score on the test anxiety assessment was a 3.3. According to the scale my score means that I have moderately high-test anxiety. Yes, I do believe that I may be affected by test anxiety. 3) Three techniques for reducing test anxiety is improve your lifestyle, preparation, and using positive self-talk. Yes, I do plan on using these techniques. I would start by improving my lifestyle and getting more sleep at night, which would work with being prepared as well. 4) Three techniques for reducing test anxiety would be to fuel up- eat a nutritious breakfast before the test and pack smart snacks for ongoing energy, don’t pay attention to what other people are doing on the test, and have a positive mental attitude. Yes, I plan on using these techniques I just listed.
