Nursing Dear Potential Nursing Student, Thank you for your interest in the Morgan Community College Nursing Program. Enclosed you will find the requirements for application to the Nursing Program. Morgan Community College is using a competitive admission process. Points are awarded based on course grades in BIO 201, (first time completing course only), your score on the Kaplan Admission test, prior paid nurse aide work experience, residence in the MCC service area and previous qualified application to the MCC Nursing Program. Additional points can be earned for successful completion of BIO 202, BIO 216, and the HUM/SOC elective. Once you have completed the required pre-requisite courses with a minimum GPA of 2.5, you may apply to the nursing program. The application period will start on January 14, 2019 and end on February 28, 2019. Applications received by February 28, 2019 will be given priority. Applications may be taken after February 28, 2019 until the nursing program is a capacity. All applications must be completed online from the nursing webpage on the Morgan Community College website: , choose Programs and Classes, then All Programs, Click on “Go” in the Nursing box. Click on Nursing Application. You can find an application for admission to Morgan Community College also on our website. Please complete the application for admission to Morgan Community College it if has been over one year since you have taken a class with us or if you are a transfer student. Transfer students should request official transcripts be sent to MCC in order to verify completion of nursing pre-reqs. The application to the nursing program must be completed online. Applications will not be considered complete until transcripts have been received to verify completion of nursing pre-reqs. Applications must be complete by February 28, 2019 to be given priority consideration for Fall 2019 acceptance into the nursing program.
