At first, the woods weren’t the best place to learn because of the bugs and ticks. But the insects is what makes AFSA classes the way it is. While being in Field Ecology, the woods has taught me more than I could learning through the books. I could identify the trees by seeing it in person, and being close by. The woods also give AFSA a more hands for the education. The woods help us students go outside and make the classes more entertaining. The woods has also helped many students pass the science class because it is hands on, and students are able to learn by doing. Since science is one of the hardest subjects in school, having hands on classes, such as going outside to the woods, will be able to help
