3. This assignment accounts for 60% of the total marks for the course / Tugasan ini

4. IMPORTANT / PENTING:
This assignment requires group work. Form your own group (between 2 to 5 members)
and then email the name of the group members and their matric numbers to
[email protected] after Tutorial 2 (any one member of the group can e-mail
these particulars) . Only ONE submission per group is required. You may opt to do the
assignment individually and upload your answer individually. However, you will lose 4
marks in the TASK D . If we do not receive any email from you regarding your grouping
one week after Tutorial 2, you are considered doing this assignment individually.

ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
Living in the 21 st century demands us to equip ourselves with the skills and
knowledge needed to face the challenges of the century. Thus, in the assignment,
you shall learn to enhance your skills and knowledge relevant to cope with those
challenges.
One of the prevailing issues that need our concern is the sustainability of the
environment. In this assignment, you are required to apply the 21
st
century skills
learned it all of the topics in the module to elaborate the answer for the following
question:
QUESTION:
How does the Global Citizenship Education (GCED) benefited the society in resolving
environmental issues?
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION:
To complete the assignments, you are required to do the following FOUR tasks:
1. TASK A (10%): Decide on ONE environmental issue to focus on.
i. Read Topic 1 of the module to get an overview of the course. You may find
that you will learn a lot of skills while completing the assignment.
ii. You may read Topic 7 and Topic 8 to enhance your knowledge on how to
effectively communicate and collaborate with your group members if you are
working in a group.
iii. You may read Topics 9 and 10 to get a better idea on how to go about looking for
the issues.
