INTRODUCTION Land use planning seeks to order and regulate land use in an efficient and ethical way thus preventing land use conflicts. Land use planning is divided into several categories. Among them are wet open land, dry open land with special vegetation cover, agricultural land forest and other woodland, settlement, transportation and communication etc. Without land use planning in geographical activities there would be conflicts over land.
