Abstract Cyberbullying is a form of bullying relatively new concerning other forms of traditional bullying. It has diverse forms that propagate increased cases involving victims of cyber assault. The existence of multiple factors aided by the anonymity the internet offer encouragement the social menace of cyber bullying The detection problems of the incidents make cyberbullying be among the crimes that never tackled and the offenders manage to leave a lasting scar on the victims It is proven that cyber assault through texted ways can be addressed through a built sensitive topic classifiers
Purpose statement The purpose of this study will be to investigate the effects of cyberbullying among students. It also investigates how teachers can control and possibly eliminate the occurrence of cyberbullying.
Research questions What measures can be taken to avoid online bullying in schools and in homes? Do students really need to use the computer based learning platforms as opposed to the traditional learning environment?
Research The schools need to up their game if they are to have any chance at controlling this menace When in school, students need to feel safe and be safe from external aggression Schools should take the issue of bullying seriously Schools should the students to be vocal Schools must speak up the issue Schools should take necessary action about the incident Involving parents in the issue It is possible to control the type of bully since the teachers, or the elder can identify the offenders and punish them.
Research Some cases of bully go unnoticed in schools or by the administration due to universal communication. Supervision in school computers has not been sufficient, since some minors strategically place themselves in positions to escape supervision by adults, hence creating more rooms for the bully. Nonetheless, victims of bullies choose to remain silent when they are bullied therefore making it harder to identify the offenders. The vulnerable groups majorly consist of the children and adults in their formative years. Victims of Cyberbullying as reported by studies undergo significant psychological and emotional stress causing them to suffer (Hinduja & Patchin, 2010).
Research Scientists have identified aspects of the internet use that function to alter the conventional applications of the web to enhance bullying. These characters include replication, persistence, invincible audiences and search-ability. . The persistent nature in which cyberbullies carry out the crime is extended beyond the confines of interaction spaces such as school and workplace.
