Seven Habits Profile I have never had the chance to fill out the seven habits profile before now. It is something that I believe that all leadership should take something similar to this to see where they feel they are good in their leadership abilities and where they can improve. Based off of my results I would say that I am very fall under the transformational leadership theory. This means that I am better at the interpersonal skills as opposed to the business aspect. I like to have the flexibility that comes from being a transformational leader, it allows me to be much more available in my mind to go with flow of things as opposed to trying to force things to be a certain way. As we get into each specific category, I tend to be a bit more critical of myself when it comes to my leadership scores, I like to be honest about what my strengths and weaknesses are when it comes to leadership. Category 1 Category 1 is one of my lower scores that I received on the Seven Habits Profile at 12 total point. I tend to not always be the kindest to people when they are not around. I don’t like to gossip too much but I am a bit critical of people when they are not around. I know this is not the best trait to have when it comes to being a leader or manager. I am true to my word and am able to keep promises that I make to people, I think that this is a key for all leaders to have. As a leader it is our job to be trust worthy and be able to help those that you are the leader of when they need your help. As a middle manager it is my job to be the voice between upper management and then those that I am in charge of. Category 4 Category 4 is my lowest score that I gave myself the reason for this is that I am not always as organized as I would like to be. Companies that are organized are able to run much

more effectively. This is not to say that I do not have some organization skills I just know that they could always be better. As mentioned before, I like to have the flexibility when it comes to a plan because it allows me to improvise. Someone who is organized doesn’t always have that ability to improvise when things don’t always go according to plan. That doesn’t mean that one way is better than another, I know what works best for me. Category 5 Category 5 has a very wide range of strengths and weaknesses according to my Seven Habit Profile. I am a HUGE procrastinator, for example, I waited until the last minute to type this paper. I feel as if I am able to concentrate more when I am under pressure and I am able to put my best work together. When I was in high school and college, I always did my best on papers when it was crunch time. I like having the pressure to get something done in a relatively fast time. I do like to have a very meaningful life and so I am always careful to worry about the things that I can control. If I worried about the things that I could not control I would be a nervous wreck constantly. I am very much goal orientated and like to have goals that are set out before me.
