In this video, six different scenarios will be presented that will help you understand how bones and muscles give our body strength and how we are now pushing the limits of our strength. Answer the following questions as you view. It will help you to read the questions through before viewing so you will know what to pay close attention to! 1. In the first scenario, a man is picked up by a tornado and dropped a quarter mile away from his home. Even though authorities estimate that his body was dropped at 30 mph he suffered no major injuries. What factors contributed to the fact that his body was able to withstand this drop? The fact that bones are strong his skeleton protected all his internal organs when he fell. They are flexible and his body went lamp from being knocked on the head which allowed him to relax his muscle anda allow his bones to absorb the impact of falling 2.
