Demographic o Represent people like yourself o (Can a woman only represent women? A black only represent blacks?) Delegate o Instructed delegate: Do what your constituency wants o Do what your voters want (i.e. ignore those who didn’t support you) Trustee o Classic trustee: Do what you think is best Party Representative o Vote as your party wants you to vote Interest Representative o Support the groups and voters that supported you with $$$ and votes
