Adam Reath Week 2 Discussion Critical Thinking PHI210 Prof Goltz Do you think Kant was correct in stating that, "actions are moral only when they are done out of respect for moral law? In the everyday life of each person morality plays a big part in our lives. A person’s decision, whether it plays a huge impact or no impact on their life decisions, these are all done out of our integrity. When a person is doing something, they have a choice on making the right decision or making the bad decision. Most people with a good conscience will make the right choice to do what is right whether they are being watched or not watched by someone else. As I further research this subject, I have realized that a lot of morals are taught to us, whether they are good or bad, we still learn from what we see and hear. The issue I find is morals and beliefs are taught differently to everyone, myself for example, I was raised in a strict family, my parents always wanted what was best for us.
