Scenario #1Two employees seem to both have similar issues with the company. They both agree thatit is unfair that no matter how they perform for the calendar year, all employees will receive a2% raise. Some employees could be working overtime, completing tasks and enlarging theirroles, while other may have stayed stagnant and have gotten by with the bare minimum, butboth know that at the end of the year they will all receive the same raise. This makes theemployees who are working harder feel underappreciated and not validated in their roles.This is also a hard transition for those who want to be promoted within but have a barrier ofcommunication through management. There has beena lack of structure when it comes togrowth in the company. This leaves employees confused and unmotivated to grow, especiallywhen they do not know how or if it is even possible.
