WATER 2 Bottled water versus tap water From a health point of view, the difference between bottled water and tap water is relatively insignificant, hence, I mainly drink tap water. In addition, the alleged benefits of bottled water are not at all times correct (Güngör-Demirci, Lee, Mirzaei & Younos, 2016). In many cases, tap water is only as safe to drink as bottled water. Whereas bottled water may, in fact, be more trendy and convenient than tap water, it is more dear and lavish. Tap water and bottled water have stricter regulations, they are controlled by Environmental protection Agency (EPA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) respectively. However, tap water is safer than bottled water in my view. The EPA has tighter inspections and restrictions regime, whereas FDA has a less stringent disclosure of customer information (Zimmerman & Snow, 2012).
