Activity # 1 (Due January 23) – Worth 5 points. Working alone, think of a single personality trait and an individual ability that you think is especially important for a person to be able to perform each of the three jobs provided below. Then, write one interview question you will ask to determine if the individual meets the job qualifications. Sales Representative This position involves calling on existing customers to ensure that they continue to be happy with your firm’s products. The sales representative also works to get customers to buy more of your products and to attract new customers. A sales representative must be aggressive but not pushy. A personality trait that essential for a sales representative is outgoingness. If a person is not outgoing they will not have the drive to talk to new customers, and handle problems with current customers. The individual ability that is important is quick thinking.
