John Nguyen September 3, 2007 GWRIT 103 There’s a difference between writing for fun and writing because you have to, I am the combination of both. I like to write but I will not go out of my way to write; if I am assigned to write something then of course I will have no problem writing. Because let’s be serious, writing is not always the thing I have in mind when it comes to a boring Saturday afternoon. Ever since I can remember, though, I have loved to write. I like to write about anything that comes to mind and anything I can think of. It may not always be a “good piece,” but writing none the less has been fun for me. I remember back in middle school when my teacher gave me a C because of a couple of writing assignments. She said I did poorly on them, but after reading over her grading, I didn’t find anything wrong. Maybe it’s the way I like to express myself in writing, but I find little problems in the way I write. For you and for me and for anyone else, writing is one of the many different ways a person can
