However, only having a social media presence does not guarantee success. As there is so much competition and the social media network is so crowded, it is important to be able to test and track the results in order to identify which strategies are most effective. This is done using social media analytics. It is not possible to keep track of all the data, so it becomes important to scan and decide which data matters most. Analyzing competition and keeping a track of the number of friends, followers, likes and views are a few basic analytics tools used by every social media account holder.
