Kim Jalm The first site I visited was the Office of Naval Research, http://www.onr.navy.mil/focus/ocean/vessels/default.htm, it was full of information. I really liked this website because it was very informative, it even had quizzes which some people would like. It had many links for all different kinds of interests. The site, NASA Oceanography, http://science.hq.nasa.gov/oceans/, was another very informative site. Although, some of its information is common sense. It does show some different kinds of maps in different kinds of bodies of water. I liked this one a lot also. It sticks to what it is about, which is revolving around NASA. The site, Science Daily, http://www.sciencedaily.com/news/earth_climate/oceanography/, was more of an oceanography newspaper. It had tons of stories about theories and explanations as to why it is going to be cold today, and hot tomorrow. I would like this site a lot more if I wanted to know the intricate details as to why these things would

I didn't really like this site because it didn't really have any new information on it, other than research studies. There wasn't really anything on the homepage I liked. It just showed a picture with the headline story, and that was it. A couple of links had fish as what you click on, but it didn't really catch my attention at all. The last site I visited was the Official Magazine of Oceanography. I thought the homepage lacked a lot of things, but the overall purpose of the site is informative. I wouldn't subscribe to the magazine myself, but people highly interested in coeanography might. The only links on this site were about the authors, and copyrights, and the different issues. It's not something I had a particular interest in....
