Lined up blocks of men and raped and pillaged  200-250 thousand Chinese civilians died o War crimes of all imagination  Poison the water supply to see how fast it killed them  Dropped plague infested rats to see how fast the disease would spread  20 million people died at the hands of Japan  300 Billion in damages  China says 400 Billion damages and 35 million dead mostly civilians  Nazi’s killed 6 million and caused other deaths due to war  China had it way worse and we don’t cover it in the text books because we are more worried about white people  S.E. Asia o Opened their doors to Japan because of a lie and became worse imperial masters o The animosity is still active and has been passed down to younger generations who still have a low opinion or outright hate Japan o White Wash – Textbooks in Japan totally skip this imperial stuff and WWII  Gloss this over or white wash it entirely  This infuriates Chinese and Korean people 
