Head Lice
Head lice do not prefer dirty heads to clean and there
should be no shame in getting head lice. Please call
the school nurse and let us know if you suspect your
child has head lice. Signs and symptoms of head lice
are a very itch scalp and nits attached to the hair
shaft.
Treatment:
 Call you pediatrician about special shampoos
 Comb out all nits
 Wash all bedding and clothes in hot water
 Place all toys, helmets, hats and stuffed animals
