An in-depth look into the functional areas includes systems analysis, compliance, and consultation, which can incorporate coordination of different fields, facilitation, and integration of systems. Development of systems requires products and resources. As well as educational and professional development, information management which integrates and falls under proper policy development, advocacy, quality, and performance improvement. Lastly, safety, security, and environmental health is the key to successful patient care. (ANA, 2015)
