MOB RULE IN NEW ORLEANS2One compelling reason that I found in the text “Mob Rule in New Orleans” is thefamiliarity that it has with the way things are in the present. The text, when compared to real lifesituations, draw a very close range similarity in the changes that we are experiencing in thevarious levels of the society; economic, social and political. For instance, the case of the‘colored’ men who are sited next to a house are approached by policemen who assault them. Thisis so happening in the society we are living in today as the policemen are seen to be ruling infavor of a certain class of people. This has been observed in various states especially in terms ofcolor where the black person has lost identity of the sight of the white policemen. African-Americans have suffered the effect of police brutality especially when it comes to police patrols.
