Raynell Davenport CWV-101 04/28/2019 Andre Mooney Benchmark - Gospel Essentials A worldview can be defined as many things. Basically, a worldview is a belief or set of ideas used when to develop an understanding and form an opinion. A person’s worldview explains how people came to dwell on earth, the reasons for life as we know it, personal duties and obligations in the world. Worldview also, explains how all interactions with each other or the world comes together, and furthermore, why bad or good things happen (Hiles & Smith, 2015). Developing a tangible worldview has the biggest influence on our individual lives. Individuals usually do things or act according to what they believe, basically, according to their worldview. The whole world uses a moral compass by which they judge wrong from right, and how they relate to the world they live in (Becker, 2006). Despite any faith or religion, a person may live by everyone still has a worldview. The world around us is ever changing, it is filled with inevitable death, injustices, complete confusion and utter chaos. Living in such a world anyone will start to question why. God Who or what is God? In western civilization at one-point Christianity, their worldview and their interpretation of God was the main focal point. The world has seen a drastic change in the last two hundred years or so, the viewpoint has changed. Now the world includes many ideas of God; what or who God is and His impact on the world. According to the Christian viewpoint God is supreme, with no external limitations. The Christian God has no beginning and no end,

He also has no reason outside of Christianity for his existence. The Christian God has no physical laws or boundaries. God does not change. God knows everything and is everything. God is the creator of all things (Isaiah 44:24 KJV). According to Christianity we can never know or understand the full power of God. In the King James bible of the Christian faith, Job 11:7-8 state we cannot discover the depths of God or the limitations of the Almighty. His power is as high as the heavens and deeper than hell. On an entirely different spectrum we have the Naturalistic Viewpoint. The naturalism viewpoint suggest there is no God. They believe that people have been conditioned by Christianity. They suggest that people have been programmed into believing in superstition and an obsolete way of thinking. Naturalistic Viewpoint says humans are just vastly advanced creatures within a corporeal system (Otto, R, 2009). No matter a person’s worldview, it is a fact that God, and His existence is completely faith biased.
