Why or why not?Common cold or viral Upper Respiratory Infection typically requires no treatment ( Woo, 2015). I would inform Mr. JD that he can take oral or topical decongestants. He may also take analgesics such as Motrin , ASA, or Tylenol to aid in relieving the feeling of general malaise. Unfortunately the patent presents with a secondary bacterial sinusitis. Mr. JD has fever, headache, and green nasal discharge that has occurred within the 14 days of initial symptoms.
