These patients were admitted from 3 medical or 2 surgical wards by 7am on the 10 pre-scheduled screening days (4 during the 1 st project and 6 during the 2 nd ). This study occurred between September 2012 and May 2014. What is the sample size? (Size can and should vary according to the nature of the study.)
