In this research, data are collected through unstructured and structured techniques using focus groups (group discussions), individual interviews, and participation and observations. Quantitative research, on the other hand, is comprised of numerical or statistical data. It is used to quantify attitudes, opinions, behaviors, and other defined variables. The data collected is said to be measurable, and collection methods are more structured than qualitative data. Data are collected through "surveys, face to face/telephone interviews, longitudinal studies, website interceptors, online polls, and systematic observations" (Snapsurveys, n.d.) This week’s assignment allowed for a review of four research articles (two qualitative research and two quantitative research). During the review, similarities and differences were noted in each of the four topics.
