Nestle Case Study ANTICIPATED BENEFITS OF BEST - Were the benefits Best of BEST? Project BEST aimed at achieving business excellence through System Technology. The main goal of the project was to unite the brands into One Nestle , to avoid Silo perspective (self-contained functional units) and adapt Business Process perspective (integrated sequential set of activities and tasks that turns inputs to outputs) to have an integrated company. The need and benefits to move from functional to cross-functional business process was realized. Project BEST anticipated to build common standards to be implemented throughout the corporation. Provide for common data sharing and cut down costs by overcoming redundancies in data. Project BEST’s goal was to get the “ big picture” i.e. optimize on the organization goals. Anticipated Benefits – Achieved!
