The overall goals of the financial strategy is ensure profits are expanded, maximize value to shareholders, ensuring return on investment (ROI) through proper management of assets, liabilities, and cash flows. Within the financial economies of scale, specifically within the people and/or services industries the cost of people are often times seen as uncontrolled overhead of costs. “ In fact, people businesses—with their distinctive cost structure—span industries ranging from IT consulting to facilities management, from insurance brokering to telecommunications services” (Barber and Strack, 2005). These service driven organizations people costs are generally more than their capital costs, but it is the people who are doing their jobs drive the profits for these organizations.
