Juliette Colvin 1George Washington’s Secret Six, Brian Kilmeade, Sentinel: New York, 2016.The author of this book wanted inform the world about the Culper spy ring and how they helped defeat the British in the American Revolution by uncovering information on them. He also wanted to honor the secret six and the ground work they laid on creating the United States. I think they met their goal because it was very informative and still intriguing to learn about them because it sheds new light on the revolution. This book is about revolutionary war told through the eyes of the Culper spy ring. The book is also about Washington’s plans to win the war and how he executed and implemented that plan. Lastly the book is also about the British trying out smart the Americans and figure out who is the spies are and what they know.The story is told chronologically from the start of the ring to the battle of Yorktown and
