3.02 Types of Evidence 1. Physical evidence vs. Documentary evidence A. Differences: Physical evidence is evidence that is left on the scene, such as hair, blood, weapons, and fibers, but documentary evidence is written or recorded, such as recordings of the crime happening. It can also be a recording of a telephone conversation. B. Similarities: Both, physical evidence and documentary evidence show evidence that was left behind, and they both are real, authentic evidence that can be easily shown to be untampered with. 2. Demonstrative evidence vs. Testimony A. Differences: Demonstrative evidence is evidence used to help recreate the crime scene, and how the crime actually happened, however testimony is evidence given by witnesses during a trial. B. Similarities: Both evidences can be unreliable, as demonstrative evidence is an educated guess as to how the crime played out, and the witnesses could be lying about what happened or think they saw something other than what actually happened.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
