Forensic Pathologist 1. To become a forensic pathologist the first degree you need to earn is your b achelor’s de gree, then a medical degree, which can be either an M.D. or a D.O. Additional education and training is required, including four to five years of training in anatomic, clinical or forensic pathology and a one-year residency in forensic pathology . 2. A forensic pathologist s job is to determine the cause and manner of death. To do this they perform autopsies on the deceas ed. 3. In 2000 a woman named Cynthia Hrisco was said to have drowned in her bathtub, and it was ruled this way too by forensic pathologist Scott Denton, even though it bothered him. At this time , it was not heard of to drown people in their own bathtubs, so no one thought that was what happened to Cynthia. Dr. Scott Denton was so bothered by the case though, that he held on to a copy of it. In 2003 another story was released, the 4 th wife of Hrisco had drowned in her bathtub, coincidence?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
