Every day, cars, trucks, and industrial factories burn fossil fuels emitting dangerous CO 2 gases into the atmosphere. These gases pollute our ecosystem and act as a “green house” effect in the atmosphere increasing the climate temperature every year. We know this phenomenon by a more common term, Global Warming. We have all seen the news reports, heard of the shocking projected consequences, and listened to an Al Gore speech at sometime. However, contrary to popular belief, global warming may in fact be due not to human error, but by natural phases the world goes through. Biased media presentations along with vote-hungry politicians stress the effects of global warming every day. They provide cost effective tips to lower CO 2 emissions while giving powerful speeches on what steps people need to take in order to save the planet. As they attempt to influence people and gain their trust, the media and politicians often leave out controversial information discovered by many scientists.
