At first you need to understand the Era of common man during President Jackson’s reign to be able to respond to this question. You could say that it was the era characterized by the rise of the middle class. Let’s first take a look at Jackson. He himself had a humble background. This gave him an upper hand on his rivals, who had strong political and economic background from families, relatives, and friends. Jackson’s success showed that it was possible for common man to rise to greatness. One could say that the middle class of the Jacksonian era are far much behind contrasted with the working class of today. This is on the grounds that, because of changes in innovation and organizations, the amount of cash in the economy has since expanded consequently, making the life to be extremely lucrative with much pay contrasted with the Jacksonian time.
