PSYCH 543, Psychometrics, Summer Quarter 2019 Some Additional Review Videos for the Last Exam Posted August 7, 2019 The following videos cover and in some cases augment ideas and concepts presented in the text and in the Power Point presentation from our class. Please complete this review before starting the exam. Classical True Score Item Analysis (about 4 minutes) Item Response Theory Review (about half an hour) Developed in 50’s, started being used in 70- 80’s. Needs computing power. Replaces CRT. More accurate and less glitches. Spits out a graph that uses the item difficulty and the test takers’ abilities on the different planes. Stopped right before the halfway point. That’s where it gets technical with the scoring and other aspects. (about 53 minutes) (about 20 minutes; this one is titled Item Response Theory 101)
