Create a chart or write one detailed paragraph explaining how Carnegie used vertical integration to reduce competition and make his business more profitable. Carnegie used vertical integration to be able to have more control over the production of the steel and to make it cheaper. Carnegie bought out iron, railroad, and coal companies/producers. By doing this he eliminates a middle man making the steel cheaper for him to make.
