Luke LeosCamit Mr. Hotchkiss Period 6 December 7 2018 In the story The Shack, Mack is the main character of the story. Mack is Married to a woman named Nan and he is a father to five children, His youngest daughter was abducted and killed which led Mack into depression leaving him the question if he should have faith in god or not. Later he receives a letter from “god” which draws him to the shack his faith in god regrows and he comes to accept his daughter’s death. Mack’s closest friend, Willie Is the Author and narrator of the book He lends his car to mack so that he can go to the shack. Mack’s wife Nan is a very religious woman she calls god “Papa” because she feels a connection between them. Nan and Mack’s children, Jon Is their oldest son, in the beginning of the story he has already moved out and is living with his wife. Tyler is their second oldest son, He has already moved out as well but he is studying for his masters degree in the start of the story. Their last son is attending
