2 We have all heard at some time in our lives, “Everything happens for a reason.” Looking back over the culmination of the last six weeks has proven this point for me once again. I have experienced the opening of a new chapter in my life; at a time when endings were occurring that I was not even aware had happened. “Learning community” was a term that had not even crossed my lips, and here I am completely immersed in just that, a learning community. I came into the program with the assumption that I would belong in a cohort in which we were brought together, to learn together. However, what I was not prepared for was the fact that not only are we learning about how to learn with each other, I find that we are learning about our individuals selves through each other’s experiences.
