Is it ethical for employees to give information about a company’s unethical or illegal practices to an outside third party, such as a newspaper or government agency? Why or why not? Under what circumstances, if any, could such information be given to an outside third party? c. Describe a proprietary information issue with an organization with which you are familiar. How was the issue addressed? What proprietary information policies and practices discussed in this workshop could have been applied to help resolve this issue? Company espionage could be a more significant issue than the average employee can imagine. Each employee is granted access to a portion of information, of their company, that allows them to complete their work assignment. The portions of information pieced together from an outside source can be damaging if given to a competitor or foreign nation. Company
