The name of the article is “Russia blows up Soviet-era landmark in World Cup city” . It was written on March 24th, 2018 by the Reuters News Agency. When I was searching through the internet I came across this Article that was relevant to the Cold War and the World Cup that is coming up this summer. As we have been taught in class, there was a lot of political suppression that happened in the late 1960- 80’s. In a communist society there can be a large disregard to subjective opinion which means that there's always an unfortunate chance that people don't get the representation they vote for or request. In the particular case of this article, the Russian Government was dealing with the preparation of the 2018 world cup that's going to held throughout the country in the beginning of june. The world cup is one of the most popular international events that takes place every four years. Since the country of russia is hosting the event this means
