In Brazil during the early 1800s there was a transition in their number 1 produce. It changed from sugar, to gold, to tabacco in a span of 2/3 years. C: 33. Nat Turner was a slave from West Virginia who began a slave revolution. He was one of the few slaves who was educated. His master Benjamin Turner allowed her to learn reading, writing, religion, etc.
