Celina Crane 30 Things Stay-At-Home Moms Should Do Stay-at-home moms experience a whole different kind of responsibility than working moms. In my Marriage and Family Relationships class, I learned that working moms have better mental and physical health than stay-at-home moms (Jarvis). It’s of vital importance that stay-at- home moms start making lifestyle changes in order to improve their overall well-being. Below, I will list 30 things that stay-at-home moms should do in order to improve their mental and physical health: 1. Get a gym membership that offers childcare 2. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day a. Take you kids with you on a walk! 3. Go outside (bring your kids) 4. Take up gardening 5. Work from home 6. Make alone time for yourself 7. Go to the park with your kids 8. Take your kids on play dates 9. Treat yourself to the salon a. Get your nails and hair done 10. Have brunch with friends (maybe some that also have kids) 11. Find a community within your neighborhood (or nearby) to be a part of with your family
