In the issue of peace negotiations between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP),we think that it will not lead to just and lasting peace in our country due to certain reasons which hinder the possibility of settlement between two parties. These are the reasons why we disagree about the resumption of the so called “peace talks”, because we think that the NDFP will not sincerely cooperate with the government; there’s a conflict between the mindset of both parties, the NDFP and the GRP, in terms of the government system that they desire; the possible agreements that they would come up with won’t be long lasting due to the differences of perceptions of each
