Katelyn Carte Business Communications Week 2 Homework In chapters six and seven, the main topic discussed was positive and negative messages. In these chapters I have learned that positive and negative messages have a major affect on business. If you are writing a business E-mail and your message positive, the results will likely be in your favor. If you are writing a business E-mail and your message is negative, the results may not be what you had hoped for. Positive messages in business communication are used to provide information, motivate reader to perform the action requested (if there was an action requested), and reward them for doing so. When creating request messages, you will need to format the message a certain way. You will need to include your big idea first. This will let the reader know that this is the most important topic in the detailed message. After the big idea, you will need to provide details supporting your reasoning for the big idea.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
