Basketball has been my favorite sport of all time, even though I didn’t know a single thing till my freshman year. At that time, I had just graduated from my middle school, and I also got to transfer schools. Transferring between schools wasn’t a big deal for me, however, making new friends and experiencing an ‘American School’ with elite kids was the most challenging part to do. I was shy and timid, but I had to do something to let others to know me, because I thought I would not survive throughout the whole year if I don’t make my first move. Then, some big poster board gave me an idea to enlighten myself, where was pinned up an old famous basketball player, Bill Russel. Underneath the poster with small white letters was written ‘Try Outs: Wednesday-Girls U19’. I tried out for basketball and I made it into the team, ‘The Wolves’. That is when I started making new friends and enjoying the sport itself, too.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
