Figure1. The standard curve showing the concentration of BSA proteins in known and unknown solutions using the absorbance measured. The absorbance of an unknown solution was measured using a spectrophotometer. The optimum wavelength of the spectrophotometer was found to be 580nm at .004abs. This wavelength was then the standard that was used throughout the rest of the experiment to measure our known and unknown solutions. The concentration of the known solutions were increased incrementally by 0.5ml for each progressing tube ( tube 2 had 0.5ml and tube 3 had 1.0ml, etc.) and after mixing with deionized

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
