ETHC-445 - Week 4 Paper - Ethical dilemma killing species to save anotherOne of the Major ethical dilemmas that I have seen and have sparked up interest is that the Federal and State Wildlife agencies are speaking about killing off some of one species. They want to do this to bring back another one to get them out of the endangered species list. One that specifically comes up within the last year and a half or so is killing off the barred owl to bring the spotted owl off of the endangered species list. They have been doing this for some time now without it being public knowledge. I am not one to say to kill an animal to save another. I also am not the type of person whom would want to see an animal become extinct. The one benefit I see of this is that you are trying to save more than one species of owl and to bring the populations back out of the endangered species list. I couldn't agree with this
