-1Christina Persiani 2-6-08 Writing 1150 Writing Exercise #3 After reading the article Lies My Teacher Told Me , I found that there were many different aspects that I could relate to. History has always been my worst subject, not only in high school but also in elementary school and middle school. I always got A’s in the class, but I would achieve them by remembering the information the night before, taking the test, and then forgetting it all. This was on of the points brought up in the article. It talked about how there was always so much information to learn in each chapter, that the only way to do it was to remember and forget it. This is what I did every single time and it never really helped me. I could take a test that had the same information on it from year after year, but every time it came up again on another test, I had to remember it all over again. However, this was the only subject that I had to do this in which is one of the good points in my high school education. My high school was a very good high school.
