If you are good at something you will do better with people around you and if you suck you will suck more hardcore if you have people around you. key is to practice enough so it is autonomic behavior so it wont work against you. Group Behavior: performance before Yerkes-Dodson model The link between arousal and performance forms an inverse curve. There is going to be some optimal level of arousal for any one task for you. Too low arousal and you will not be motivated enough. Way too much arousal and you will choke and do poorly. It allows for different people to have different optimal arousal for different types of tasks. Example with him and golf versus tiger woooooods.
