The human brain is divided into two hemisphere that is then divided into four major parts of the brain such as frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital lobes. The temporal lobehas many function and one of that function is your memory. Your memory is the section of your brain that gives you the information to recall a certain event or situation. There are three types of memory that each have their own function and they are long-term memory, short-term memory, and sensory memory.Long-term memory is meant for keeping information in storage for a long time hence the name long-term memory. Long-term memory has an unlimited capacity that can last a lifetime that is also split into the three parts such as the procedural memory, the semantic memory, and the episodic memory. The Procedural memory is what controls the memories of remembering how to do an activity such as riding a bike, swimming and so on. The Semantic memory controls all the information you need to know about our world today and everyday knowledge such as time zones, capitals and the math equations. Lastly the Episodic Memory
